My Classroom Library is DONE!

It took forever...actually since the beginning of June but I am done!!!  I have always wanted to "organize" my library and have tried many different ways.  I organized them by AR level.  The ones that weren't AR books, I organized by genre....THANKS to this site:  Book Genres.  Here are a few pics of the process.  I will have pics of the finished product in a few days.

All books are in crates now.  I actually ran out of crates and had to use 2 clear rubbermaid tubs.  I also kept old readers and am in the process of looking up all the quiz numbers for them.  I went to AR Book Finder.  There were some that didn't show up, so I had to log into AR like I was a student and look up some that way.

I have spent today "blog stalking".  I found an AWESOME blog:  Me & My Gang (2nd Grade Teachers).  They had a list of 2nd grade blogs and I added those blogs to the right hand side of my blog.  I finally had to get off the computer because my youngest woke up from her nap.  This blogging is addictive!
